At Malara Eyecare & Eye Spa, we believe that every child deserves a moment in the sun—and we’re proud to have stepped onto the field to support Every1Camp’s life-changing mission. This summer, our team, alongside Dr. Malara and Michelle, came together to contribute to a free one-day sports camp that brings joy, laughter, and community to children with intellectual and physical disabilities.
What Is Every1Camp?
Every1Camp brings together certified adapted physical education teachers, volunteers, and sponsors to create a free, inclusive sports experience for K–12 kids with disabilities. Their mission: remove financial and physical barriers so every child can play, have fun, and build confidence in a safe, welcoming environment (every1camp.com). Founded by educator Reed Warner—who was inspired by his nephew and motivated by faith—Every1Camp focuses on creating joy through sport (every1camp.com). Malara Eyecare’s Involvement & Impact
When Every1Camp reached out, Dr. Malara and Michelle responded with open hearts. Our support included:
- Financial sponsorship, allowing Every1Camp to stay entirely free and accessible to families
- Personal presence at the camp—taking part in activities, cheering on participants, and handing out smiles and high-fives
A Day to Remember
Those two hours at the camp may have been brief, but the impact was tremendous. From dribbling basketballs to encouraging every child with warm smiles and cheering voices, our team witnessed firsthand how inclusion isn't just good—it’s powerful. We saw children share moments of achievement and families breathe relief in a space built purely on joy and belonging.
