Changes in Insurances We Participate With

Valued Patient,

The COVID-19 pandemic and New York Business Pause has given us the opportunity to carefully evaluate our business and the vendors we partner with.

We are always trying to find better, more efficient ways to serve you, our patients, and to make sure the quality of the products and services we provide (or our vendors provide) are at the highest standards.

During this evaluation, we have identified several vendors, insurance companies, optical labs, frame vendors and contact lens companies that are making it difficult to best serve our patients, as they do not support our core values of “Professional Eyecare with a Personal Touch.”

For this reason, as of June 8, 2020, we will be discontinuing our relationship with:

Superior Vision

National Vision Administration (NVA)

Davis Vision

We are excited to let you know that we will remain an Open Access (out-of-network) provider for these plans and continue to submit claims to them on your behalf. We will no longer accept payment from them directly – it will go directly to you as a reimbursement. For those of you who carry these insurances, we are gladly offering a 50% savings on our products and services for the next year. The following year, we will extend a 25% savings on our products and services.

We are happy to discuss options with employers about how we can continue providing in-house savings to their employees.

We value you, your time, and your desire for the best in quality of care and quality of life. We thank you for you loyalty as we move forward TOGETHER.
